Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), 22nd Annual Exhibition and Symposium, (Anaheim, California), April 14-18, 2010
The SCI team played an active role at the 22nd Annual SCAA Exhibition and Symposium in Anaheim California, presenting recent findings from the Committee on Sustainable Assessment (COSA) and holding both COSA and Sustainable Commodity Assistance Network (SCAN) team meetings.
Daniele Giovannucci presented COSA findings to several thousand enthusiastic coffee professionals, donors and media representatives as part of his keynote address entitled ‘Taking it Personally: Coffee and Sustainability' at the SCAA Symposium, and also led a public session on ‘The State of Organic coffees - Origins and Markets'.

The SCAA is the world's largest membership-based coffee association representing coffee growers, roasters and retailers from 40 countries. The annual Exposition and Symposium, through its numerous lectures, presentations, tastings and networking opportunities, helps coffee enthusiasts of all kinds better understand this dynamic and evolving coffee market.
The COSA team met to review lessons learned and to share best practices from the recent COSA work in Central America, Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, and Tanzania. An informal SCAN meeting was held to update partners on programme activities and discuss next steps.
